Eastgate Youth- A future and a hope!

Hey there!  Welcome to EGY for 2012, our 9th year in action!  It's going to be a great year as we do youth group together!

EastGate Youth is a Friday night youth group in the Eastern Hills area and promotes a message of a future and a hope to young people, equipping them to walk in their God-given purpose to make a difference in the community!

 Youth runs every Friday during the school term & features an inspirational life changing message, crazy antics with Friday Night Challenge, a live band plus awesome people just like you! There is also stacks of fun with gaming consoles, basketball, air hockey, table tennis, jamming on musical instruments plus heaps more! Twice a term we have a free dinner. This is generously supported by Mundaring Community Bank ®.  We also go out once a term for epic activities or to meet up with other youth groups.

EGY is fully supervised and drug and alcohol free, and is for young people 12 years old and up!

EastGate Youth is made up of awesome young people from the hills, many who not only just rock up, but help make EGY what it is.  As well as these dedicated young people, helpers and team members, we also have a key leadership team...

Key Leadership Team

Jared

Jared is the Youth Pastor, and started EGY in 2004.  He is passionate about seeing young people transformed by God's love and walk in the purpose God has for them.  As well as leading EastGate Youth, Jared is also a Registered Nurse, working as a School Nurse in a local high school.  Jared loves playing music, and also making up crazy games for youth group!  He is married to Andee (who he started EGY with) and they have a daughter named Miley. 

Claire

Claire is a founding member of EGY, having been with us from the beginning.  Claire likes to make sure everyone is looked after and welcome at EGY, and is passionate about young people reaching their potential, especially girls.  She works as a Registered Nurse at a local hospital, and is married to Glenn.  They have 2 cats!  Claire loves going to the beach and movies in her spare time.

Kaleb

Kaleb heads up the youth band and loves connecting with people through music.  He is passionate about the Bible and helping young people discover life through it.  He is studying engineering at Uni and loves spending time with his wife Lauren.
