Hi there!
Just a quick letter to keep you up to date with EGY!
As well as the usual program at youth group, we have some special events coming up!
COMING EVENTS
Friday 20th August - Youth Space at Mt. Helena Recreation Centre, 6-9pm
We will be joining up with Seen and Heard on this night to put on a youth space at the Rec Centre, featuring an “Open Mic Night”- the stage and mic is open if you want to sing/tell a joke/play on the instruments/beat box/ whatever! Contact us if you want to book a spot or rock up on the night. There will also be gaming consoles set up and other activities so going to be a great night!
Friday 10th September - Dinner night @ EGY
Join us for dinner. Something great is always on the menu on our dinner nights. Family and friends welcome.
Friday 17th September - Youth Alive Adrenaline @ Challenge Stadium
This is going to be a night not to be missed, and huge value for money, with heaps of entertainment including youth speaker from the US, bands Hillsong United and New Empire and Youth Alive band
Details: Bus leaves EGY @ 6pm, return approx 1030pm.Cost: $30 (entry & bus)
As tickets have to be pre purchased, please let us know by Friday 3rd September if you want to come.
(If you are finding it difficult to attend outings due to cost, please speak to us about it so we can help out, as we don’t want you to miss out!)
Friday 8th October - Operation Christmas Child
We are putting together gifts (in shoe boxes) for underprivileged children to spread the message of a future and a hope and spread the joy of Christmas. Donations of toys and money would be greatly appreciated! See Claire for more details. Last year we put together 37 boxes and this year we are aiming for 100 (with the assistance of the community!)
