About Eastgate Church

History

We are a Christian Church in the Eastern Hills of Perth with our beginnings as a local fellowship started in the mid nineties, and were established as Eastgate Church in 2001.

Affiliation

We are affiliated with the Full Gospel Churches of Australia, and are part of the wider Body of Christ being in relationship with other Christian Churches across denominations throughout the hills and Perth.  We are also part of Eastgate Fellowship International, a network of like-minded churches across the globe.

Beliefs

We believe in:

• one God, The Father, Son and Holy Spirit
• Jesus Christ, Son of God who died for our sins and is risen
• the Holy Spirit, working in and through his people
• the Bible, God's living word
• the lost state of all people without Jesus
• the baptism of the Holy Spirit for all believers
• the church as the body of Christ fulfilling his last command to share the good news of Jesus to all the world

Together we:

• share in the Lord's Supper
• practice baptism by full immersion for all believers
• give through tithes and offerings
• live, love and learn together through various groups
• serve one another and the wider community through a number of initiatives
