About Eastgate Church
Eastgate Church is affiliated with the Full Gospel Churches of Australia.
Nestled in the beautiful hills of Perth, Eastgate Church was established in 2001.
Our vision is to build a vibrant, empowered church for all generations, reaching the local, national and global community by sharing the good news of Jesus Christ.
Eastgate is a church with Jesus as our foundation. Church is not about religion but about relationship with God that is available to everyone through His son Jesus. It is our aim to present this truth in a way that is relevant to life today.
As part of the Body of Christ, Eastgate aims at bringing wholeness to people's lives, as well as equipping and releasing them to achieve their God given destiny within the church and beyond.
We believe in:
- one God, The Father, Son and Holy Spirit
- Jesus Christ, Son of God who died for our sins and is risen
- the Holy Spirit, working in and through his people
- the Bible, God's living word
- the lost state of all people without Jesus
- the baptism of the Holy Spirit for all believers
- the church as the body of Christ fulfilling his last command to share the good news of Jesus to all the world
Together we:
- share in the Lord's Supper
- practice baptism by full immersion for all believers
- give through tithes and offerings
- live, love and learn together through various groups
- serve one another and the wider community through a number of initiatives
